Join us for an uplifting and calming morning gathering that focuses on yoga, breathwork, sound and relaxation.
The Yoga Sound Movement series travels upwards through the seven chakras using breathwork, simple movement, and body postures that can take place standing, seated or lying down, allowing relaxation and meditation. Each of the seven chakras is associated with a seed sound – simple chants that are easy to pronounce and bring a sense of calm and presence. In these sessions, you can choose to listen or join in, inviting gentle vibrations into the group. Each session can be adapted for different levels of experience and is open to anyone aged 17 and above. No experience of yoga is necessary.
This first session explores grounding with simple movement, breathwork and mantras, providing a sense of safety and security with others and within ourselves, focusing on the Root and Sacral chakras. The Root chakra governs over our physical energies, and the Sacral chakra is known as the seat of our creativity.
