Mojafan is spiritual jazz of the late 1960s combined with drum'n'bass/funk/jungle, building on the legacy of Alice Coltrane, Pharaoh Sanders and 1970s Ethiopian jazz. Their new album "Mae Be for Ever" is a power houseof raw energy solos interspersed with dreamy effects and gentle introspective moments.

 

They must be one of only few hard-hitting spiritual jazz outfits that has audiences dancing at their gigs!
