Behind greyhound racing lies a story most people never see — one of suffering, secrecy, and systemic neglect.

The Secret Lives of Greyhounds is an investigative documentary exploring the lives of greyhounds bred and raced, exposing a pipeline of exploitation at the heart of an industry now facing worldwide condemnation.Featuring exclusive undercover footage and expert testimony, the film challenges the legitimacy of greyhound racing and asks whether its future can be justified at all.

This free screening at The Grove is a collaboration between Shut Down Campaigns activists and Animal Aid, and offers the opportunity to see the documentary and participate in a Q&A session with documentary contributors. Nottingham is one of only 15 licensed greyhound racetracks that remains active in England. Find out why members of your community are fighting to close it.
